Now how can we use the latest available technology to overcome the hurdles in education sector? I’m of the opinion with the multimedia devices rampant and low cost; they definitely can replace the teachers.
I’m just emulating the ideas used in post graduate studies provided by many Universities across the world. The website teaches you; you take up online courses, finish your credits become a graduate. How about these at the school level? I’m definitely not targeting the primary schools, but a 12-13 year old (who has discontinued his/her education) can be ideal. As I mentioned earlier, roughly 57% don’t complete their education (Courtesy Teach for India). And websites like http://www.meritnation.com/ makes the idea more promising.
